Runescape Castle Wars Information
Starting Out in the Game
A new player in RuneScape starts out on Tutorial Island. Although it may seem boring to some, Jagex has determined this to be imperative to understanding future gameplay and stops people from creating huge numbers of low level characters. While on Tutorial Island, players learn about gameplay, controls, combat, communication, banking, completing quests, and other skills.
Once a player has completed the tasks on Tutorial Island, they are teleported to the city of Lumbridge. From then on, players can upgrade their characters in any fashion they desire. They can travel around the character's world between cities such as Varrock, Falador, Port Sarim, etc. Players can also travel around by raising their magic skill to a level high enough to perform a teleport to some of these major cities. In RuneScape, the goal is for players to develop their character by raising skills, completing quests, et cetera.
RuneScape also has a highscores list where one can view the best 1,000,000 players overall and also those who excel in a particular skill (must be at least level 30 in the skill and in the top 1,000,000 players)
RuneScape takes place in the fantasy-themed realm of Gielinor, which is divided into several different kingdoms, regions, and areas. Other skill levels increase total levels and overall rankings for players, but not their combat levels. Monthly membership fees are currently set at ¡ê3. Each of these is limited to 1,250 players, allowing a total number of 2,500 simultaneous RuneScape Classic players. Combat level is the only information about the player that is visible to other players while in game.90 SGD, if paid for with a credit or debit card. These often require minimum levels in certain skills or a minimum combat level to complete them, and a few require the help of another player.
